The multidisciplinary association Italiafestival, formed by some of the most prestigious Italian festivals, at the beginning of the year accepted the request for membership of the Aquileia Film Festival, the international archaeological film festival, now in its 14th edition and organized by Fondazione Aquileia with Archeologia Viva and Firenze Archeofilm, in collaboration with the Municipality of Aquileia, Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Superintendence of Archaeology Fine Arts Landscape of FVG, Fondazione So.Co.Ba. and PromoTurismoFVG.
ItaliaFestival was founded in 1987 within Agis, the General Association of Entertainment, and today represents 43 Italian festivals and 6 networks of festivals operating in the fields of music, theater, performing arts and dance, literature and other artistic events.
All the associated realities are united by a strong international vocation and a solid rooting with the territories. Italiafestival also plays an active role in the EFA, European Festivals Association, the most important international network of festivals based in Brussels; There are several important annual appointments resulting from this collaboration.
